Send a note or call the school secretary if your child is going home a different way, preferably early in the day.
Parents must have a green sign for student pickup.

Cannot stop and wait or pass other cars.
First 5 cars will load only when all 5 have stopped.
Visitors
All visitors must sign in and get a sticker.
Please schedule classroom visits ahead of time.
For safety reasons, adults without a visitor sticker will be stopped in the hall and asked to return to the office and sign-in.
Folders
Please remember to check your child’s communication folder every night. Any notes for me or lunch money please put in folder in an envelope with their name on it.
Folders include a weekly calendar for specials, curriculum we are working on and any events happening at school.
This is a also a great place to keep weekly spelling list, sight words, lunch choices, vowel town. I usually put them in the clear sleeves. Please keep them there.
Classroom Parties
Siblings may not attend our 2nd grade celebrations. Please keep these special parties just for our 2nd graders.
Birthdays
Snack list must be followed for birthday treats. Please no cupcakes or drinks.
If treats are sent that are not on the snack list we will have to send them back home with the student.
Birthday party invitations and gifts may not be distributed at school. Invitations will need to be sent from home, even if there is one for each student. I cannot give out addresses. Please check the PTA directory.
Field Trips
Chaperones are invited based on space. Siblings may not attend.
Medicine - all (including cough drops) should be brought to the nurse’s office. Parents are to fill out a medication form.
